Weleda has been creating the highest quality natural and organic skin care since 1921. Rudolf Steiner, an Austrian philosopher, with a Dutch doctor, Ita Wegman and Oskar Schmiedel, a chemist and pharmacist from Munich were the instigators of developing pharmaceutical products and natural and organic skin care with the concept of the products being in harmony with nature and the human being. Fast forward a few years and Weleda are still developing the highest quality natural and organic skin care products made from 100% certified natural substances certified by NaTrue. Many of the raw ingredients Weleda use in their products are grown in their own gardens and are either organic or biodynamic. Weleda natural and organic skin care has been used by people for generations and is still true to form as it was back in 1921. Weleda products are Certified by Natrue which means the products contain only natural and organically sourced ingredients, the natural and organic skin care products have not been tested on animals, do not contain silicon oils nor ingredients from petrochemicals.
